This is my first Rain Harvest limited edition bar and I find it has a very fragrant taste and smooth texture surrounded by a sharp snap. The scents are really engaging: sweet floral notes and an impressive green grass/eucalyptus cool nose feeling.

The taste is delicate and elegant with a distinctive pistachio flavor rounded off by espresso nuance. It is no wonder the fruit notes are very mellow considering the specific origin. But the black cherry aroma matches perfectly with the flavor composition of this bar.

If you do not know, cherries came from the family Rosaceae and, black cherry, in particular, is lightly floral with slight notes of spice, rose and green.

The aftertaste is driven by vanilla oak aroma (typical for some white wines as Chardonnay), orange bitter sour taste on the tip of the tongue and toffee creamy feeling on the bottom of the throat.

Just at the very end, the sweet-sour black cherry flavored water confirms its presence with warm spice (cinnamon, vanilla, oak) scents lingering all over your palate.

What do you think about a chocolate mousse with orange and pistachio tartles topped with fresh pitted black cherries?
