Flavor profile: a warm and fruity first glimpse on the palate with a notable cherry-like silhouette. Then it develops an aromatic coffee edge with a flavorful acidity: the orange presence cannot be denied but as "orange peel" along with the acidulous and slightly bitter/sour flavor of citron. Fragrant flowery gathering of tea-rose and coffee blossom with nice light overtones of coriander seeds and a berry-peppery persistent finish. This spiral of unprecedented goodness here is one of the most iconic representations of the Peruvian identity. The length is staggering, and I am not just talking about the faded extension on the same line (winey tartness-citrusy-sour-bitter-nutty-toast back taste) but a staggering feeling of absinthe buzz that makes your tongue tingle and then goes numb that seems to be magically floating in a transcendent herbal scenario, and, considering the "qualities" of this herbal liquor such as heightened awareness, this is not a coincidence given the type of inclusion.


Qantu surely marked a new era in the bean-to-bar movement with this inclusion and the Tresor Cache creations. In the end, we are all committed to exploring new territories, to achieve, experiment, and challenge... in a creative escalation of explosive desire, discovering, and work ethics that inspires and teaches us to this day on both an individual and collective level. And this maker stands out with an outstanding and diversified selection.

Ps: it is a very intense tasting experience, one of the few in the world that had not been repeated yet. You can relax in an informal atmosphere and enjoy it slowly, bite after bite, day by day... even for a week!
