70% Tocantis dark chocolate with candied cupuacu.
Ingredients: cacao, candied cupuacu, organic cane sugar, cocoa butter.
Round cocoa taste with low bitterness and astringency. The snap is soft and the scents are very light except for the cupuacu candies. The flavor is mild and fruity followed by a long sour-spicy dried fruit aftertaste. What I like most is the finish. At first, the tasting experience may seem very simple but wait until the nice "temper" shows up.
The cupuacu candies inclusions build up a unique flavor profile.
If you don`t know this fruit has a very intriguing aroma: a mix of chocolate with hints of banana, melon, and pineapple.
Now if you like Belize Maya Mountain single-origin cacao with the typical pineapple and pepper palate, this bar is a great choice and not only! It can open your mind to something new and more aromatic: a chocolate cupuacu bonbon!
