Story behind this gourmet recipe

During the Tang Dinasty, the Emperor Xuanzong used to send lychees to his favorite concubine Yang Yuhuan. For that reason lychees became a symbol of romance, beauty and good luck.


About the bar

Oustanding rose scent.

Indeed lychee is a very aromatic fruit with hints of roses.

The fresh fruit has a grape/pear taste and musky tones.

But dried is different. More like grape/raisin.

The taiwanese cacao carries delicate caramel aroma. Chocolate tart fruit finish.


Can you imagine a Lychee Rose Mousse Cake? Taiwanese chocolate sprinkled with rose powder and filled with lychee mousse. Sublime!

NB: in this case the inclusion aroma prevails the chocolate taste. Lychee is the real protagonist of this romantic tasting experience.
