Review: Fuwan - Taiwan Magao 62%

Updated: Aug 18

Tree to bar from TAIWAN

Ingredients: cacao beans, sugar, cacao butter, magao (wild pepper)

Academy of chocolate Silver winner 2018

Cacao from Ping Tung, Taiwan

This bar is shockingly good. Fu Wan added the magao pepper to their award-winning 62% ping tung chocolate. The result? It`s not fire. Don`t worry. Indeed I`m impressed. The nuances are so pungent out of the package but the flavor is very mild with an extraordinary light texture. Nice snap. It melts like heaven with all the sweetness you can think of. Honey, earthy and nutty aromas from the cacao beans. Lemongrass, ginger, and extra light peppery feeling from the mountain pepper.

“The kick of the maqaw known also as kububen pepper lights up the texting experience with a bith of crunchy and gentle notes of lemongrass and peppery ginger”

The chocolate finish is short but the clean magao pepper aftertaste will follow you gently for hours. You can eat all of it? Of course, you can! It literally liquefies in your mouth.

Question: 45 gr is a single serving?
