Ingredients: natural cocoa butter, milk powder, white sesame, cane sugar, puffed rice, seaweed, sea salt

Flavor profile: notes of caramel and sesame with lingering umami of seaweed and subtle toasty aroma from the puffed rice

Maker`s description:

This luscious bar has charcoal roasted white sesame seeds pounded and added with dried seaweed into our signature caramelized white chocolate. A generous topping of dry-roasted puffed rice lends a toasty biscuit flavor and provides a crunch.
The result is an addictive chocolate that will leave you craving for more. Savour slowly and enjoy.

Ok, I am out of my comfort zone here. I can`t say I enjoy it but I am not entirely unsympathetic to Fossa plight. The charcoal roasted white sesame seeds aroma and taste along with the caramelized white chocolate generous buffet is quite mouthwatering. But at the first attempt of the Seaweed "hegemony", personally, that curve of pleasure fades away.

It is a question of individual preferences. It is palatable but weird. Interestingly, the seaweed-umami flavor just occurs in between the tasting experience vanishing towards the end. You can still catch a whiff of its presence on the bottom of your throat.

In conclusion, I want to mention R. L. Stine and his thought associable by analogy to our craft chocolate passion:

Read. Read. Read. Just don't read one type of book. Read different books by various authors so that you develop different styles.

Ps: I received this bar as a gift along with a replacement for an order issue.
