Ingredients: cocoa beans, pure cane sugar, cocoa butter, whole vanilla beans.

The story behind this bar:

From the first time I tasted this cocoa beans that we used to make this chocolate, I fell in love with them. Their rich flavor was intoxicating and beautiful. The cocoa comes from a small remote community in the Guayas River Basin just up river of Guayaquil, Ecuador. It was an easy decision to make chocolate from these wonderful beans. After the chocolate was finished, we held a launch party with the farmers in Ecuador. We had free food for all and most important, they were all very excited to taste the chocolate they helped to create. I will never forget the aged matriarch of the community thrusting out her hand and demanding "more" time and time again. Every time I taste this chocolate I am sure that she was right. This is one chocolate whose incredible flavor will cause you to always ask for "More".

The striking brown color defines the flawlessness of the classic mold enriched with the "Amano Chocolate Maker" signatures.

Nice snap. Full vanilla-chocolate aroma supplemented by faint sweet dark fruits fragrance.

Warm mouthfeel and creamy texture. Slow even melt. Strong and well-balanced flavor. The flavor profile is a gratifying development of "chocolate-vanilla Tartufo" notes matched by aromatic hints of smoke wood, slightly red fruit tartness, and earthy blackberry undertones, spices, closed off by a feeble tinge of green banana complexity. In the mouth, the dense molasses presence delivers warmth and smoothness and a long finish with an overall sense of incredible smoky-tart-sour balance.
